I tried this (the embarassment of buying cream sherry!) but found it a little inadequate somehow. Not sure what I wanted - another texture I think. I couldn't seem to get the rocket and the chick peas to stay entwined so I guess I wanted something grabby or pasty to hold things together. Maybe I should puree some of the chick peas and see what that does?

I know what you mean. Perhaps you could puree a tin of tomatoes and add that or maybe a dash of cream or yoghurt?

I cooked this Nigella Lawson recipe the other night and it tastes good, is very healthy and takes just a minute or two and is easy. When you just want something good and wholesome this dish is a great option.
