Mr. Jackson's paper on issue management has far-reaching effects. I appreciate you bringing this updated post to my attention; it could not have come at a better time. I found this paper while struggling through an issue at Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama. I am the student body vice president and we are currently trying to create a crisis management plan. I believe one of the most important points of issue management is anticipation. The paper touched on its importance, but is there any way that an organization can improve its anticipation skills? I'm sure a lot of that comes with time and experience, but do you have any tips for students/beginners? Thank you for providing this universal insight. It is so acurate and useful--I feel like it was written just for my organization. Great work!
