Is Larvatus Prodeo Australia's most influential political blog?
Well it is according to research done during last year's federal election for Dr Colin McLeod, General Manager Marketing, Communications at the AFL, which he shared with us at last week's Media Alliance Public Affairs convention in Sydney.
He had some confusing slides full of planet like shapes of various sizes with connecting rods between them which were apparently a map of online activity during the campaign. Of course, the media sites had more traffic, but of the blogs Larvatus Prodeo had the most incoming and outgoing links which was the proxy the researchers used for influence.
Congratulations to Mark Bahnisch for a job well done.
Cripes! Two comments here today Trevor. Yes, Mark has built something very good there, hopefully he'll be able to make some serious coin out of his efforts long term, and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
