David Barnett blames the ABC

Two tasks now confront the Coalition. The first is somehow to hang on, for the sake of the country, in the face of a challenge from the man the ABC is determined to make prime minister.

Ah yes damn you aunty; if it wasn't for Kerry O'Brien Howard would be flying high in the polls.

Howard's mates flee sinking ship First someone in the Liberal sanctum leaked a devastating poll and then his hagiographer advises him to resign. The ABC news tonight sends there is expected to be no good news for Howard in tomorrow's Newspoll and everyone thinks interest rates will go up on Wednesday. The Government launched an ad on Youtube today to try and blame the States for interest rates, a ridiculous claim. All this at the startof the last parliamentary session before the election. It all smells like a government on the way out.
