The Howard Government has one task between now and 24 November and that is to convince enough swinging voters that Rudd is not up to it, or not yet up to it. They want voters to front that ballot paper with just enough doubt in their minds about Rudd to head back to the familiar harbour of Howard and Costello. "The Government will put as much pressure on Rudd as they can to try and unsettle him. Howard will want the voters to see Rudd angry, flustered, uncertain and just generally a little bit rattled.
